Acne
85% of the population is affected by acne and it can be common in adolescence, but also in adult life. The overproduction of sebum (oil from the sebaceous gland) mixed with excessive keratinisation (buildup of dead skin) is a dreadful combination that forms a plug in the follicle.
Rosacea
Is an inflammatory skin condition that affects both sexes aged 30-50, prevalent in those with sensitive skin where the skin is hypersensitive and characterized by redness, flushing, erythema, broken capillaries, burning sensations,
and inflamed papules.
Ageing

Dry skin
Dry skin lacks sebum and lipids, our two main lubricants which are part of our acid mantle and fundamental for a healthy barrier function. An absence of these may lead to irritation inflammation, burning and milia formation (white dots) – as well as premature ageing.
Hyper-pigmentation & Melasma
Melanin is produced from our melanocytes in the deepest layer of the epidermis, their main role is to protect us from harmful UV rays of the sun.
When exposure to UV rays is excessive, melanocytes produce more melanin than usual, causing our skin to become tanned.
